States with Minimum Wage Changes

While Indiana’s minimum wage remains unchanged at $7.25/hr., several other states will increase their minimum wage for workers in 2019. Check with your payroll department to make sure your organization is in compliance.

New York $11.10 (statewide minimum wages apply in areas that are not governed by a higher, local minimum wage ordinance, like New York City)
Ohio $8.55
Oregon $10.75 (current); $11.25 (effective July 1, 2019; statewide minimum wages apply in areas that are not governed by a higher, local minimum wage ordinance, like Portland Metro)
Rhode Island $10.50
South Dakota $9.10
