Attorney Craig Finlayson concentrates his practice in the areas of banking and business law, including counseling closely held business clients. He also consults with clients regarding wills and trusts, the avoidance of reduction of estate, generation-skipping taxes, and gifts to individuals and charities. He is also a registered mediator with the state of Indiana.
Craig is a member of the Allen County Bar Association (past president) and the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA), where he served on the Ethics 2000 Committee and as a Past Director. Currently, he serves on the ISBA’s Special Committee to Review Lawyer Advertising and is a member and a Past President of the Fort Wayne Estate Planning Council. He is an AV® Preeminent™ rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell based on their peer review ratings and was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers® in America 2016.
He received his B.S. From Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1968, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Indiana University, Indianapolis, in 1973. Craig is admitted to practice before the Indiana state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
