Highly experienced in estate planning, Trisha’s practice encompasses will and trusts, the avoidance or reduction of estate, inheritance, and generation-skipping taxes, various techniques for making gifts to individuals and charities, life insurance, disability, and distributions from retirement accounts. She also consults business owners regarding choice of entity issues, valuation issues, buy-sell agreements, and business succession issues.
Trisha is a BV® Distinguished™ rated attorney based on Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review ratings. She is professionally involved in many associations and councils, including being a member of the Estate Planning Council; the Planned Giving Council; and the Allen County, Indiana State Bar, and American Bar associations. She was also appointed as a member of Barrett McNagny’s Executive Committee. In the community, Trisha participates annually in the Leave a Legacy®, Write a Will program, and has been a speaker at numerous local and statewide organizations. She currently serves as a member of the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana. She was recognized as a “Rising Star” for the 2009 Indiana Super Lawyers® publication.
After receiving her B.S. in 1993 from Saint Francis College, she attained her J.D. in 1996 at the University of Toledo College of Law. Trisha is admitted to practice before the Indiana state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
