Anne Simerman focuses her practice on counseling corporations and other business entities in a variety of business-related matters, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, and commercial transactions. She also counsels business entities on SEC reporting and regulatory compliance as well as banks and non-bank financing entities on creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, and regulatory compliance.

In addition to being a member of the Allen County Bar Association, Anne is also a board member for Fort Wayne Habitat for Humanity, a board member and past president for the Volunteer Lawyer Program of Northeast Indiana, and a congregational council member and past president at Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church. 

Prior to attending law school, Anne worked at Partners 1st Federal Credit Union, beginning her career as a part-time computer operator and then quickly rising through the ranks to become vice president–branch operations. Anne earned her B.S., Accounting, summa cum laude, in 1984 from Indiana University, and her J.D., cum laude, in 1995 from Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. She is admitted to practice before the Indiana state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
