Alderks Joins Labor & Employment Law Team
Barrett McNagny LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Hannah L. Alderks has joined the firm’s Labor and Employment Law practice group. She will focus her practice on labor and employment law, providing counsel on a broad range of workplace matters.
Focused on working with employers, Hannah is experienced in advising on issues including discrimination and harassment claims, employee discipline and termination, wage and hour compliance, and federal and state leave laws, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Her business-focused and practical approach helps employers navigate workforce challenges and minimize legal risk.
Before joining the firm, Hannah practiced employment law and commercial litigation at a northeast Indiana law firm, representing clients in a variety of business and employment-related disputes. She also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Craig J. Bobay and the Honorable David J. Avery in the Civil Division of the Allen County Superior Court. Her judicial clerkship provided valuable insight into the litigation process and judicial decision-making, experience she now uses to effectively counsel and advocate for her clients.
She is a member of the Bejamin Harrison American Inns of Court chapter and a member of the Allen County and Indiana State Bar Associations. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. She is licensed to practice before the Indiana and Illinois state courts and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
