Counsel
Christy Young focuses her practice on labor and employment law, counseling businesses on a wide range of workplace issues, including discrimination and harassment claims, employee discipline and termination, wage and hour compliance, and leave laws such as the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
Christy brings extensive labor and employment experience to her practice. Prior to joining the firm, she worked with the labor and employment group of a multinational law firm in Chicago and served in an executive leadership role for a large national corporation. Throughout her career, she has advised employers on employee relations matters, workplace investigations, compliance and management training, and strategies to mitigate labor organizing risks.
She has extensive experience representing employers before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Indiana Civil Rights Commission.
Her practice also includes assisting clients with insurance defense and commercial litigation, representing businesses through all stages of dispute resolution.
