Labor and Employment Team Welcomes Christy Young
Barrett McNagny LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Christy M. Young has joined the firm’s Labor and Employment Law practice group.
Ms. Young focuses her practice on advising businesses on a wide range of workplace matters, including discrimination and harassment claims, employee discipline and termination, wage and hour compliance, and leave laws such as the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
She brings extensive labor and employment experience to Barrett McNagny. Prior to joining the firm, Young worked with the labor and employment team of a multinational law firm in Chicago and served in an executive leadership role for a large national corporation. Throughout her career, she has advised employers on employee relations issues, workplace investigations, compliance and management training, and strategies to mitigate labor organizing risks.
She received her undergraduate degree from Ball State University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia. She is licensed to practice before the Indiana state courts and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
