Immigration Attorney Aimee Korolev Joins Firm

We are pleased to announce the addition of Aimee L. Korolev to the firm and the expansion of its services with the launch of its immigration law practice. She will focus on assisting businesses and individuals through complex immigration matters.

Proficient in Spanish, Ms. Korolev represents individuals in a broad range of immigration matters, providing personalized counsel and advocacy tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Her practice includes naturalization and citizenship matters, asylum applications, humanitarian-based immigration relief, family-based petitions, and removal defense proceedings. She is committed to guiding clients through every stage of the immigration process with skill, compassion, and dedicated representation.

She will counsel businesses on navigating the complexities of U.S. immigration law to recruit, hire, and retain a global workforce. Her practice encompasses a broad range of employment-based immigration matters, including nonimmigrant visa petitions, labor certification applications, and employment-based permanent residence processes. She also advises employers on immigration compliance issues, including employment eligibility verification, work authorization requirements, recordkeeping obligations, and compliance with federal and state laws. Through proactive guidance and strategic counsel, Ms. Korolev will help organizations minimize risk and prepare for audits, investigations, and other regulatory matters.

Prior to joining the firm, she served as Deputy Director of a nonprofit organization in South Texas, where she provided legal education, representation, and services to immigrant adults and children. She is a frequent speaker in immigration topics, including presenting at the American Bar Association’s Commission on Immigration and the Federal Bar Association’s Immigration Law Conference. She is a member of the Allen County Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Ms. Korolev is licensed to practice before the Indiana and Texas state courts. She received her B.A. from Indiana University, Bloomington in English Literature and Spanish. She received her J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law where she was the author of the publication Providing a Pathway for Asylum: Re-Interpreting Social Group to Include Gender and was a member of the Order of Barristers
