Legal Assistant
Barrett McNagny LLP, one of the oldest and largest law firms in northeast Indiana, is recruiting for an Estate Planning Legal Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working as an Estate Planning Legal Assistant.
Daily Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and updating the firm calendar to include all court appearances, deadlines, and reminders.
- Main point of contact with clients.
- Use of an electronic file management system.
- Assisting in preparing legal estate planning documents.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Witnessing and notarizing client documents.
Candidates should have superior technical, proofreading, spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills and be able to multi-task to meet deadlines. Organizational and communication skills are very important in this position. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic legal professional that enjoys an upbeat and fun atmosphere.
