2026 Summer Associates
Barrett McNagny LLP is pleased to announce that Alexis Andrist, Emily Gutman, Cody Wilson, and Evan Krueger have joined the firm as law clerks for the summer of 2026.
Alexis Andrist, a native of Lehi, Utah, has completed her second year of legal studies at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she is an Associate on the Indiana Law Journal and will be a Managing Editor this coming fall. She is also a Practice Group Advisor where she mentors other law school students, and she is a volunteer and classroom lead for Outreach for Legal Literacy. Ms. Andrist earned her undergraduate degree in criminal justice, summa cum laude, from Southern Utah University.
Emily Gutman, a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, has completed her second year of legal studies at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she was named to the 2025-2026 Order of Barristers and will serve on the IU McKinney Moot Court Station Competition Board. She is also a member of the IU McKinney Women’s Caucus and the Phi Delta Phi Willkie Inn Chapter. Last summer, she served as a judicial intern to Chief Judge Holly A. Brady. Ms. Gutman graduated with degrees in history and political science from Indiana University Bloomington.
Evan Krueger, a native of Milford, Indiana, has completed his second year of legal studies at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He is a research assistant to Professor John Hill and was a note candidate for the Indiana Law Review. Mr. Krueger graduated from Taylor University with a B.A. in political science, philosophy, economics, and biblical literature.
Cody Wilson, a native of Strasburg, Colorado, has completed his second year of legal studies at the University of Notre Dame Law School. Last summer, he was a judicial intern for the Hon. Derek R. Vaughn with the Douglas County District Court in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. Wilson graduated, summa cum laude, from Hastings College with a B.A. in political science, history and philosophy where he received the Model United Nations Position Paper Award and was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta and Pi Sigma Alpha societies.
