Profile

George Bewley, Jr., focuses his practice on estate planning, tax planning, succession planning, business planning, and estate administration. Board certified in Trust and Estates by the Indiana Trust and Estate Specialty Board, George is also a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

George is a member of the Allen County Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is a frequent seminar presenter to local and regional audiences on the topics of estate planning and taxation. George has also been featured in Best Lawyers in America®, as well as in the  Best Lawyers® publication as a "Lawyer of the Year" in 2012 in the area of Trusts and Estates. For 25 years, Martindale-Hubbell has recognized George as an AV® Preeminent™ rated attorney based on their peer review ratings.

He earned his A.B. from Indiana University in 1969 and received his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Bloomington, in 1973. George is admitted to practice before the Indiana state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and the U.S. Tax Court.
