Pat Murphy has spent his career in litigation. He is a trial attorney who concentrates his practice in commercial and business itigation. Pat`s diverse experience includes handling matters related to contract disputes, non-competition agreements, real estate, construction, trademark and copyright infringement, trade secrets, unfair competition, injunctions, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, product liability, insurance defense and bet-the-company litigation. A former Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney`s Office, Pat has been lead counsel on over hundred (100) jury trials and over one thousand (1,000) combined arbitrations, mediations, depositions and hearings. He is a member of the Allen County and Indiana State Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute and Defense Trial Counsel Institute. Fort Wayne raised, Pat supports various local community activities through volunteer work. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Community Harvest Food Bank and the Embassy Theater Foundation and has volunteered for Junior Achievement programs. He has been an Adjunct Professor and volunteer at the Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne campus and a guest lecturer for MBA students at the University of Saint Francis. He is a graduate of Bishop Dwenger High School, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University in 1993 and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 1996, from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis. Pat is admitted to practice law before the Indiana state courts, and the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana and has been admitted Pro Hac Vice in other jurisdictions. |
