Thomas M. Fink Receives Volunteer of the Year Award

The Northeast Indiana Chapter of the American Red Cross honored Thomas M. Fink with the Volunteer of the Year award for 2010. Mr. Fink is a board member and member of the Executive Committee for the Chapter. The Northeast Indiana Chapter of the American Red Cross provides emergency services during disasters, health and safety training, and assistance to military families.

Mr. Fink concentrates his practice in the area of Estate Planning with Barrett & McNagny. He is certified by the Indiana State Bar Association as a specialist in Estate Planning and Administration. He is also active with the Planned Giving Council of Northeast Indiana.

Thomas P. Yoder Selected for Inclusion in the 2010 Super Lawyers, Corporate Counsel Edition

Jeremy N. Gayed passes the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Registration Examination for Patent Attorneys

Barrett & McNagny LLP is pleased to announce that Jeremy N. Gayed has passed the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Registration Examination for Patent Attorneys. Mr. Gayed represents clients in matters before the U.S. Patent Office, including the filing and prosecution of patent applications.

Prior to joining Barrett, Mr. Gayed practiced in the field of patent infringement litigation in Chicago, and served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable William S. Duffey Jr. in the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. He joined Barrett & McNagny LLP in 2008 and concentrates his practice in the area of intellectual property including patent, copyright, trademark, trade dress and trade secret matters.  He also represents clients in  general commercial litigation.

Mr. Gayed, a native of Huntington, graduated magna cum laude from Notre Dame Law School, where he was an executive editor of the Notre Dame Law Review. Mr. Gayed also received a B.S. in chemistry and political science from Wheaton College.
